Terms & Conditions

Bookings and appointments

  • Appointments can be booked online through Acuity or directly by email/phone.

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

Cancellations and rescheduling

  • Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments without notice, will be charged in full.

  • If I ever need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances in under 48hrs, we’ll reschedule you at a mutually convenient time. Unfortunately I do not offer a refund for cancellations made with less than 48hrs notice.

Payments

  • Payments are taken in person at the clinic, via the clinic’s system, or online if specified.

  • I don’t process or store your card details directly.

  • If you’ve purchased a block of treatments and some remain unused, I’ll refund the outstanding sessions (unless otherwise agreed as part of a package).

Late arrivals

  • Please try to arrive on time so you can enjoy your full treatment.

  • If you arrive late, I’ll still see you, but your session may need to be shorter so I don’t run over into the next client’s time.

Health and safety

  • Treatments are provided following a full consultation to make sure they’re suitable for you.

  • It’s your responsibility to share any relevant medical history, medications, or conditions before treatment.

  • If you’re pregnant, under medical care, or unsure about treatment, please check with your GP or health provider first.

  • If you’re under 18, parental or guardian consent is required.

Professional standards & insurance

  • I’m a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and follow their Code of Professional Conduct and Safe Practice.

  • My practice is fully covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance through my BAcC membership.

  • All treatments are carried out to professional and ethical standards.

Liability

  • I’ll always make every effort to ensure safe and effective treatment, but outcomes can vary and cannot be guaranteed.

  • I’m not liable for adverse effects if full and accurate health information hasn’t been provided.

Privacy and data protection

  • Your personal data is handled in line with my Privacy Policy and UK data protection law.

Changes to terms

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
